Terms of Service

THESE TERMS OF SERVICE govern your access to and use of the Rendevio website, web application, and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Purpose of the Terms

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern the access to and use of the Rendevio website, web application, and mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Rendevio (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "we", "our", "us") and any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform (hereinafter referred to as the "user", "client", or "service provider").

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Users who do not agree to these Terms must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 Core Functionality

We provide a digital system enabling service providers to manage bookings and allowing clients to schedule appointments through a shareable booking link. The Platform facilitates the exchange of booking information and supports communication relating to appointments.

2.2 Notifications

The Platform also issues in-app notifications for booking-related updates, including confirmations, reminders, and modifications, solely for the purpose of ensuring the effective operation of the booking service.

2.3 No Payment Processing

The Platform does not process or manage payments, and no payment obligations or refund rights arise through the Platform.

2.4 No Responsibility for Provider–Client Disputes

We are not a party to any contract, agreement, or transaction between clients and service providers. We do not mediate disputes, guarantee the performance or availability of services, or accept liability for cancellations, no-shows, or the quality or outcome of services provided.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

Certain features of the Platform may require the creation of a user account. Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering and must keep such information updated at all times.

3.2 Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted through their account. Any unauthorised access or suspected misuse must be reported to us without delay.

3.3 Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abusive behaviour, violate these Terms, threaten the security or integrity of the Platform, or engage in conduct that is unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.

4. Booking and Cancellation Terms

4.1 Booking Functionality

The Platform enables clients to schedule appointments with service providers based on the availability provided by each service provider. The availability displayed on the Platform is determined solely by the respective service provider.

4.2 Cancellation by Clients

Clients may cancel appointments at any time, as no cancellation window or penalty policy is enforced through the Platform unless separately agreed between the client and the service provider.

4.3 No Liability for Scheduling Outcomes

We do not guarantee availability, service quality, punctuality, or the fulfilment of any booking. All service-related obligations rest exclusively with the service provider and the client.

5. Acceptable Use of the Platform

5.1 Lawful Use

Users must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and must refrain from activities that could harm, disable, or impair the Platform.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

Users are prohibited from attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, interfering with its functioning, uploading harmful or unlawful content, or engaging in behaviour that disrupts service provider or client operations.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Ownership of Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, trademarks, trade names, design elements, and all related materials, are owned by us or our licensors.

6.2 Restrictions

Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Integrated Services

The Platform integrates with certain third-party service providers necessary for its operation, including the Platform for hosting infrastructure, Google Analytics for usage analytics, Mailtrap for email dispatch, and Expo for notification services.

7.2 Third-Party Terms

Use of these integrated services is subject to the respective third parties' terms and practices. We are not responsible for third-party actions or omissions.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Platform Availability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or complete security.

8.2 Exclusion of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or any harm arising from disputes between users, the conduct of service providers, or reliance on information displayed on the Platform.

8.3 Maximum Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount permitted under applicable Greek law.

9. Termination of Access

9.1 Termination by User

Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate any user's access to the Platform where necessary to comply with legal obligations, to protect the Platform's security, or due to violations of these Terms.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

10.1 Compliance with Applicable Law

Personal data processed through the Platform is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the ePrivacy Directive, and Greek Law 4624/2019.

10.2 Reference to Privacy Policy

All processing of personal data is further described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy to understand their rights and obligations.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

11.1 Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and applicable European Union regulations.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece.

12. Amendments to These Terms

12.1 Right to Amend

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes.

12.2 Notice and Effect

Updated Terms will be published on the Platform and will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the Platform following such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
